ICON was honored with a Gold Louie Award on March 4, 2005 at the
2005 Louie Awards Gala XXXI for the category of
"Collateral Material - Stationery Package - Flat Printed".
The Louie Awards are presented by the Advertising Federation of
Louisville for excellence in advertising for the 2004 calendar year.
The
Louie Award is the first level of a three-tiered national
competition by the American Advertising Federation, which is the
industry's largest and most representative competition. styl
ICON will now compete against other winners within their region
in one of fourteen district competitions. District winners move onto
to the National ADDY Awards Competition taking place on June 7th at
the Gaylord Opryland Resort in Nashville, Tennessee.

ICON have immediately been recognized by the advertising
industry."
The winning material was created and entered in the 2005 ADDY
Competition by the creative agency Black
& White, and it included stationery,
binder, envelope, and business card.
The
award-winning styl
ICON logo was conceived to illustrate the merging of two key
cornerstones of the new company. The "moving" italicized styl
represents the fluid and ever-changing influence of Design in
today's dynamic and updated Home interiors. The capitalized, solid,
bold ICON represents both our goal to become a destination
for exceptional product at exceptional value as well as our strong
business foundation as a division of well established Thomas
Lighting.
